Weekend in Tsjechië - "Transitions" 23 - 25 februari 2024 in Brno Tsjechië

Dancing the 5 rhythms is like moving in a wave. Each rhythm naturally flows from one into the other: they are all interconnected, supporting each other. In this weekend we will dive into the art of moving through transitions. We often have a tendency to stick to the known. Stepping into the unknown can feel both scary and challenging & exciting and juicy at the same time. It’s up to us whether we let ourselves be guided by fear or courage. Life is always in movement and this movement of life is not in our hands, it happens naturally. We often experience transitions as shaky. The old is falling away and the new is not there yet. While we are in this gap and we can stay present, this moment of transition has a great potential.

How to stay present in the unmovable essence inside of us, in the midst of all the changes and challenges of life? Dance and meditation give us an opportunity to practice the art of surrender, letting go, moving through transitions. Surrender teaches us to trust the natural flow of life – to not interfere with our mind, habits, ideas and fears.

Dance brings us out of the head and into the body and supports us to let our energy flow. In meditation we bring this energy in, where we embody and awaken our presence. When we reconnect with our essence, we experience that which is unmovable, unchangeable in us. When we are home in our being, we trust and enjoy life as it comes. The deeper we are rooted in the body and our presence, the easier it is to move with the changes and possibilities of life.
