Birth, life and death are inseparable connected to each other. Each moment; birth, life and death are happening at the same time. When birth is the start of a new life, it’s also the end of your floating in the womb. When we die, it’s the end of this living body, but it also a step into the unknown. This is the natural movement of Existence. Often we have a hard time to surrender to the changes of life and like to keep things as they are. This creates tensions and conflict in us. When we reconnect to our true nature, we experience that which is unmoveable, unchangeable in us. When we are home in our being, we trust and enjoy life. The deeper we are rooted in the body and presence, the easier it is to move with the changes and possibilities of life. Through dance & meditation we will explore these themes of  life’s dance.

Birth is the door between two lives; one is left behind, one is waiting ahead. It’s an ending and a new beginning at the same time. We leave the womb in order to live. Dead leaves will fall from the tree to make space for new leaves to grow out of the branches. The seed needs to crack before it can blossom. This movement of life is not in our hands. It functions naturally. Through dance and meditation we will explore the art of cracking, moving through and surrendering to life. There is so much more and different energy available in us, than we are used to

“When inward tenderness finds the secret hurt, pain itself will crack the rock and Ah! let the soul emerge”. –Rumi

We tend to live our life on the surface, in order to feel “safe”. It is fear and habit which holds us back from living totally and taking risks. Than life becomes so mediocre and we feel unfree. When we start to live life to the fullest, it becomes more intense and alive and we start to feel more; both our joy and pains. Because we prefer to skip the pain, we skip the rest too, which means that we minimalize  our life energy. It requires some courage to live and love with an open heart. The dance will bring life, love, breath and movement in our body and heart, so the frozen parts can melt and life energy can flow more free in us and in our life. Meditation will support you to look deep and honest inside yourself where you sabotage your own creativity and inspiration. It will create more insight in how the dynamics between supporting and sabotaging your life energy works in you

“Abundance is the very nature of existence, that richness is the very core of life” -Osho

Death is the most misunderstood phenomenon. People have thought of death as the end of life. That is the first, basic misunderstanding. Death is the door between two lives; one is left behind, one is waiting ahead. Same with birth.
We have learned to be afraid of death instead of learning  to embrace it as part of life. It is a great journey, but you cannot know it from the outside. The fear arises because you always see death from the outside, while death is an experience of your  innermost being. Those who have known death from the inside lose all fear of death.
When we let go deeply in the dance we can experience our Oneness. The I is gone and we dissolve in the dance and the dance dissolves in existence.  In Tantra we call this “the cosmic orgasm”. Another meaning of orgasm is “small death”.  That blissful moment when your ego is lost and you merge into existence is a certain death; death of the ego, death of your individuality. Once you know that you can lose yourself and yet can be, once you know  that merging is not death but life eternal- you are at the very core of your being.

“When death comes to find you, may it find you alive..”

Summer is the time of the year when nature is blossoming. When you look at nature, each year again and again in this season,  there is so much abundance and aliveness. The seeds are bursting into flowers, plants and trees. There is a natural, strong vital life force; a passion to live,  that wants to go out, grow and blossom. We cannot push or break open the seed, than it will die. But we can shower it with our attention, our power, our intention & our love, so it can unfold and become what’s hidden in the seed. A beautiful time of the year to connect  to what wants to be born in your heart.  What needs your attention for further growth?  Breath, movement and meditation are the keys in opening our hearts. Dance & meditation will support this proces of unfolding.
